I’m on the latest episode now. Boy, the first couple of episode was rough, audio wise. Much better in the later ones. Do you ever plan on having guests or even co-hosts on the show?
I like when there is banter and discussion between people on podcasts. Makes it feel more organic. :)

Beats me then. Network wise an external Wifi should follow the same rules as an external cellular connection.
In that case, are you sure the VPN is actually on, when on cellular?
While most have examples in their readme’s on Docker hub and Github, not all of them do, so I sometimes have to hunt down an example buried in their git repo somewhere. So a searchable page for popular self-hosted app docker compose files would be welcome.
I don’t think I’ve seen such a page anywhere else.

ELement from google play always use the google push notiofication system, which is always running. But element from say f-droid, does not have access to that, so it needs another push daemon to work, like ntfy.

Yeah, sounds like you need to configure the base-url of ntfy.
The PC is effecient. It’s not a gaming PC. It idles at around 16W and maxes out at 80’ish.
I run a script each week that updates docker images and restarts containers. And also every week I run a system update command and reboot the server afterwards.
You shouldn’t run a server, if you don’t have to time to maintain it.
I also found out something interesting. My desktop uses about 1/3 of the power one of my freezers do. :)
I don’t know unraid, so can’t comment on that, but I do have Nextcloud which has worked fine for me for years.
What one-piece software solution do you have as an alternative to Nextcloud, that is still open source and self-hostable?

I had an experience like that. The droplet was used as a seedbox for Linux ISO torrents (truth, not a cover) and after a couple of months they contacted me, saying they where seeing abnormal activity to and from the droplet and I should investigate and take action within a week, else they would turn the droplet off.
After I explained it to them they replied that using a droplet as a seedbox was not allowed, poinnted to the relevant part of their TOS and I agreed to shut it down.
What the OP is experiencing is a poor way of doing business for them.
The about page says it started as a one-developer team, but is now expanding. They mention both a US and a UK postal address.
