A “jack barker” 🤣
A “jack barker” 🤣
Oooh, I will be setting this up tonight! Thanks!
I used to get a lot of merge conflicts working with obsidian and syncthing, as I’d edit on my phone and my computer(s).
Honestly started considering just spinning up a git repo, but knowing me I’d forget to commit lol
Lol, my girlfriend just had all of her sideloaded books removed from her kindle today. She just opened her kindle and they were gone
Notably, this device-linking concept of operations has proven to be a low-signature form of initial access due to the lack of centralized, technology-driven detections and defenses that can be used to monitor for account compromise via newly linked devices; when successful, there is a high risk that a compromise can go unnoticed for extended periods of time.
Well, hopefully that gets fixed soon.
Here ya go
Title: Building a Safer Matrix
Wild that that was almost 2 years ago now…
Only time I’ve ever used starlink was as a fallback while I was working remote out of Mexico for a few months and it was ridiculously slow compared to telmex. Was nice having it as a backup though incase the telmex went down. My travel router failed over before zoom calls would disconnect 🤠
Do you know if ryot auto scrobbles?
I’ve been looking for one as well to no avail. Let me know if you find a suitable replacement
Did you search for the file off of your vpn?
Nah I rolled my own and didn’t publish it so that’s probably why haha.
Have you been using this one?
On my app I don’t get rich notifications only “you may have a new message”. Havent looked into it at all though, only set this up like last week
Lol there is a setting in molly itself for rich notifs
Huh I didn’t know this existed. Will compare it to mine later
I got an initial verification code and haven’t heard from signal since. Signal doesn’t support totp or SMS 2fa. But has a pin code set along with your password. A new device that is added doesn’t have access to old messages unless you have the correct seed key iirc
Sure but it allows VOIP numbers. I’m using a jmp.chat number with it just fine.
Yep, I run my own mollysocket + ntfy server.
Essentially, molly socket functions as another device, when it recieves a notif, it pings your specified unified push server, which then queues up a notification for the ntfy app on your device.
You don’t need to run your own unified push server, and can just use one of the main ones, but I figured I might as well.
I personally have them hosted on fly.io for free via the legacy hobby plan.
Now all I need to do is get more of my friends to message me on it 🤣
I wanted reddits IPO to bust soooo bad
!zfs@lemmy.world has under 300 sub’s, I feel like this is a fine sub to post it in until niche sub’s get an active user base
Hmm that aquarium chiller solution is interesting to me. I’d like to wire it up to home assistant, so I could automate it. Wonder if there are any that I could control with an IR blaster?
Would miss out on some of the fun data you get from the complete solution though.
I also saw there was some firmware available for the complete solution, for local control. But unsure if I can realistically justify that large of a purchase while relying on a project that may lose support.
I’m aware of the bed jet, but it doesn’t seem as useful as it just pushes air, so if your room is already hot you are out of luck.
